I thought we only had to post 3 blogs... So here I am writing my fourth one.
I found this website where they have two columns; one for anti-abortion and another for pro-abortion. They have list of different arguments and it is very interesting. They talk about so many different things. For example, the "connection" between death penalty and abortion and such. There is this one argument that says (it's from anti-abortion side) the constitution never mentioned the abortion, so it is not a constitutional right and pro-abortionlists cannot argue that it is a constitutional right. Yes, there are some weird arguments...

The opposite argument of abortion being morally wrong is that it might be actually morally right because by legalizing abortion, less innocent women will die due to unsafe abortion. Also, people who are pro-abortion do not push people to necessarly like abortion, but to respect women and their rights to make their own choice. Another argument is that our government cannot create morality. For example, Prohibition did not necessarily stop people from drinking. Rather, it encouraged people to disrespect various laws. And there is this other argument which I do not really understand how it is convicing, but it says something about how fetus is directly attached/connected to the women's body and how it only seperates at birth. For this issue, I think pro-life side of the argument is more strong, how when the fetus has a heart and it is beating, then getting an abortion is a murder.
REEEE2
While I was reading articles online about abortion, I came across many articles that had religion for the reason why they were anti-abortion, or pro-life. The main argument for pro-life seems to be something about how it is not morally right. Personally, pro-life side seems to lack convincing examples. It is my personal view and perhaps if I do some more research, I will find some decent examples that could possibly help me have a better understanding of pro-life side's point of view. Their argument is too conceptual and if someone was not raised pro-life, I do not think people who are pro-abortion could "convert" to pro-life.

Even though there are many women who are for abortion, we, including myself, do not want to go through the process. It is something that women want to have as a choice. Although I am defending women and how they, or I guess I should say we, should have the right to choose, I'm not necessarily encouraging people to have abortion. But I fail to see where anybody could have the right to choose for the mother to have or not have abortion. Even if the father of the child wants the baby, if he fails to convince the mother, then that is too bad. It's usually the mother who has to take care of the child, deal with issues, give up their career, give up their dreams, give up their time, give up their body, and etc. It influences the mother's future greatly. I'm sure it will affect the father's future as well, however it is rare for fathers to be greatly affected by it.
